Wisdom for Your Wednesday

Where there are no oxen, the manger is clean, but abundant crops come by the strength of the ox.”

Proverbs 14:4

Where there are no messy people, there is a clean, easy, and graceless church.

Where there are no children, the walls of the church stay clean.

Where there are no youth, the sounds in the building are quiet and monotone.

Where there are no volunteers, managing people is a breeze.

Where there is no intense prayer, coming to church is easy and fun.

Where there is no accountability, sin is rampant and overlooked.

Where there is no evangelism, there are no awkward and nervous moments.

Where there is no action taken, there is no criticism.

But with a bunch of messy, hard working, loving, and God-drenched Christ followers – there comes an abundant harvest.
