“Take my instruction instead of silver, and knowledge rather than choice gold, for wisdom is better than jewels, and all that you may desire cannot compare with her. . .
Riches and honor are with me, enduring wealth and righteousness. . . (I, wisdom) grant an inheritance to those who love me, and filling their treasuries.”
But wisdom guarantees you have some when you need it.
It’s never wise to sacrifice wisdom to get a lot of money.
But wisdom uses wisdom to build it for the future.
The one who spends or tries to get rich quick or frivolously is the one without wisdom.
But the one with wisdom gains and spends and saves and gives to guarantee wealth over the long haul.
Fools spend and get quickly and simply.
Wisdom is knowing the balance between spending and giving and saving and investing.
Wisdom is far better than riches – “all that you desire cannot compare with her.”
But wisdom ensures you have it over time – “Riches and honor are with me, enduring wealth and righteousness.”
